Privacy Policy

Tulsa Command ("the app") is a local weather and events intelligence app for Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma. This policy explains what information the app uses and how.

What We Collect

Location. Tulsa Command uses your device's location, with your permission, to automatically show weather conditions, radar, and severe weather alerts for your area. Your location is used only to fetch relevant weather and event data for your area — it is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to track you across other apps or websites.

Most weather data is requested directly from third-party weather providers (see Data Sources below). One data source (high-resolution precipitation radar) is retrieved through our own server, which passes your coordinates along to that provider to fetch the data and does not store, log, or retain them afterward.

Your recent locations may be saved on your own device (not on our servers) so the app can load faster next time — you can clear this at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings.

You can deny or revoke location access at any time in your device settings. If location access isn't granted, you can manually select a location within the app.

No accounts, no personal profiles. Tulsa Command does not require account creation, login, or any personal information such as your name, email, or phone number.

No advertising or tracking. The app does not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting services, or any third-party tracker. There are no cookies and no identifiers used to track you across sessions, apps, or websites.

Data Sources

Weather and radar data is retrieved directly from public, free data providers, including the National Weather Service (NWS), Open-Meteo, RainViewer, NOAA, and the Oklahoma Mesonet. Event data is retrieved from Ticketmaster's public API and directly from venue websites. Your location is sent only to these services as needed to retrieve local data relevant to your area — it is not retained by Tulsa Command afterward.

Children's Privacy

Tulsa Command does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is a general-audience weather and local information tool with no account system or means of identifying a user's age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
